Everything is up-to-date on our website for the budget
2nd grade $175 for books - Approved
Goal $3000, Profit to date $864.27

Calendar not working
Silent Auction - We should get teachers to put out eamil to parents early Jan. Themes are set. 20 baskets or so. Need items by the end of Feb.
Reading Night - Jan 29th 6:30-7:30. Cookies and milk are normally served. Looking for volunteers to bake cookies.
Movie Night - Feb 6th Box Tolls released Jan 26th. $2 admission per family. Popcorn is going to available.
5K K-5 Run - Jenn is going to check on liability insurance. Should be we have a DJ? Run will be in Sept.
We need to check with the chamber on what dates would be best. Logo contest with the students K-5. Darren will contact Auds and Ends and Pantera for shirts. He's going to talk to Target and Millers for donations. Also, work with fitness clubs here in town. BMO Harris sponsors Frolic run, might want to talk to them. Registration rate. Possible cap at $20 for 1 person, discount for family $40 up to 5 each person after that additional $10. Possible raffles.
Possible donations for raffles. Start at the PC. NEED ANOTHER VOLUNTEER TO HELP ORGANIZE! Paper forms.
Playtime Productions - Good turnout.

IC Site Council - Science Night. PTO is looking at sponsoring a science night.

The purpose of the Mt. Horeb K-5 PTO is to advocate for children, teachers, parents, and schools. We strive to create a closer working relationship between home and school and to enhance communication among parents, teachers, and community members.
The PTO is dedicated to enriching Mt. Horeb school children’s educational experience. The PTO is your organization. Your participation is valuable and indispensable! Please help at any level that your schedule allows. Volunteers are needed to design and implement PTO programs and projects and to help coordinate existing activities. Please share your time and talents! We thank you for your past support, and ask you for your continued involvement in these wonderful programs.
Formed in the fall of 1989 this organization is open to all parents of elementary children as well as elementary teachers and community members.
